Terms and Conditions
 

A full set of terms and conditions is provided to students and is available on request. 

The Journalism School will always do its best to help students, however, by signing up to this course, you agree to be legally bound by the Terms and Conditions, which define our legal position.

ENROLMENT ON OUR COURSES
By placing an order to enroll on a course through our site, you warrant that:
(a) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and (b) you are at least 16 years old; and (c) you have a satisfactory standard of English, grammar and punctuation.
    By enrolling, students agree to commit time to complete every module including all the assignments and pledge that the work is wholly their own.
    Students can take as much time as required to complete each module but the course, in total, must be completed within 12 months. The Journalism School reserves the right to terminate the course if it has not been completed within the 12 months deadline or at any time if the standard of assignments does not meet that deemed satisfactory by The Journalism School. In any event, our contract with you lasts for 12 months from the date of enrolment after which it expires.
    There are no entry requirements but students should be self-motivated.

COURSE PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price of our course is stated on our site. It is an all-inclusive price. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect students who have already enrolled. We are under no obligation to provide the course to you at a previously advertised price even if correspondence has been entered into. Payment for all courses may be made by the means detailed on our site. Each enrolment on a course is for a single user only.

YOUR RIGHTS OF CANCELLATION
Please note that if you are a consumer you have a cooling off period in which you can withdraw from the contract for any reason. This cooling off period ends 7 working days from the day after the contract was established by your receipt of the first module. If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us within the prescribed period by mail or email.
    To cancel a course, you must inform us in writing and return the course materials to us in full immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk.
    Courses cancelled by you within the seven-day cooling-off period will be refunded subject to a reasonable administration charge. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning any course materials to us. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you for pay for your purchase. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we received your cancellation. Any cancellations of or refunds for Courses other than in accordance with the cooling-off period referred to above will be at our sole discretion. Your statutory rights are not affected.

APPRAISALS
We shall use all reasonable endeavors to return your appraisals within 7 working days of receipt, but such timescale is for guidance only and we shall not be responsible for delays owing to holiday periods, sickness or other causes outside our reasonable control.
    We shall not be liable for any delays or losses of course work sent to us via email or post, whether lost outside of our possession or within it and you are recommended to make copies of all items prior to sending them.
